Our Mission
Nova Scholars Network is a student-led organization dedicated to helping newcomers adapt and thrive in the United States. We introduce the U.S. education system, provide free SAT and AP tutoring, share student-written blogs about adjusting to life and school abroad, and build a supportive community for students navigating major transitions. Our mission is to bridge the gap for international and underrepresented students.
I initially set out to follow International Baccalaureate curriculum, planning on taking rigorous courses such as Mathematics HL, Economics HL, and Computer Science HL.
But as I gradually learned how to navigate the American education system which consists of understanding transcripts, college prep, and standardized testing. I realized how many others were silently struggling just like I had. That’s when I co-founded Nova Scholars Network.

Hi, I’m Aarav. I moved from Germany to Westford, Massachusetts at the start of my junior year, so I know firsthand how challenging it can be to adjust to life in a new country, especially when it comes to school. From figuring out how classes work in the U.S. to preparing for the SAT, AP exams, and college applications, I had to learn everything while getting used to a completely new system.
I’ve gone through that transition, and I understand how overwhelming it can feel. That’s why I co-founded Nova Scholars Network, a student-led organization that helps students navigate through major trantions.
My goal is to help students feel more confident and prepared as they take on new challenges in a new place.

Moving from Germany to the U.S. in the middle of my junior year was overwhelming. I didn’t understand APs, SAT prep, or the school system, and had to figure it all out while trying to keep up. Over time, I found my rhythm and earned a high GPA in just five months. Still, I knew things could’ve been easier with the right guidance. That’s why my two friends and I co-founded Nova Scholars Network. We wanted to help students like us adjust, succeed, and feel supported.
